This is our class tree. It links to our LEARNerS Values. At the moment children are learning about the values and what they mean. Over the year we will add art and activities to it.
We are a class of Year 5/6 students at Tirau Primary School in the mighty South Waikato, New Zealand. Like all minions, we live to serve. We have a passion for self-directed learning where we can structure our learning time the way we want, so it best suits individual student needs. Our teacher Mrs Mathers guides us through the day with inspirational learning tasks. Why not come on our journey and learn alongside us?

Class Self Portraits
Here are our Picasso inspired self portraits. We were learning how to use water colour paints and create crazy blocks of colour.
They are amazing!

Class Korowai
Each child designed 2 feathers for our cloak. On each feather is a word that describes the type of person the student is.
We have been learning about respecting ourselves and others around us. Respect is one of our LEARNerS Values.
I am very proud of the results. Well done everyone!
